Cadet of the Quarter selection is based upon recommendations from the cadet cadre and from the instructors.  These parties make their selection upon a cadet's knowledge, discipline, participation, uniform wear, grooming and performance in the program.  Cadet of the Quarter is only available to LE1s.  All cadet candidates selected for Cadet of the Quarter will be interviewed and inspected individually by the cadet cadre for selection for Cadet of the Quarter.  No cadet can win more then one Cadet of the Quarter.  The Cadet of the Year will be selected from one of the Cadets of the Quarter.  The Cadet of the Year will be chosen by the cadet cadre via the same process used to determine the Cadet of the Quarter.
